小 = 八 + 亅 : Mnemonic symbol: a small daisy. 小 looks like the stem 亅 of the flower is pushing aside the earth 八 as it grows out of the seed in the ground.

Xi Shi (xi) is decorating her hair with lots of small (小) daisies (mnemonic symbol for 小) in the aorta's living room (ao3). 而 = 𦉫 + 丆 : A comb. Albert Einstein is getting ready to go out just inside the entrance of the space station. He put up some loud music on the stereo and tries to comb his hair with his comb and the help of a wind wheel.

大 = 一 + 人 : The big (大), huge (大) robot (mnemonic symbol for 大) is working out in the ashram's bathroom (a4). He's lifting a flute (一) to which Don Quixote (d) and Neanderthal man (人) are clinging.

遗 = 贵 + 辶 : Sometimes, just inside the space station's entrance (Ø2), Maud Younger (y) woefully thinks of her lost (遗) treasure chest (贵). It was filled to the top with gladiator sandals (辶); but it was too heavy to bring to the space station, so she had to leave it behind.
