酸不溜秋

酸 = 夋 + 酉 : The rooster (酉) and Susan Saint Bernard (su) where once friends, but recently they haven been fighting over a lover. Because they are both wuxia (夋) superheroes, they have been fighting for three days in front of the anthill (an1) without determining a winner. Finally they decide to settle their sour (酸) dispute and share a tart (酸) tarte to renew their friendship.

不 = 丆 + 卜 : Bruno Bear (bu) is setting up a wind wheel (丆) with a voodoo staff (卜) in the space station's bathroom (Ø4). He also puts a "forbidden" sign (mnemonic symbol for 不) on it, to make clear that it may not (不) be stopped.

溜 = 氵 + 留 : Li Qingzhao (li) wants to escape from her job (溜), which is receiving calls about defect water bottles (氵). In front of the outhouse (ou1), she quickly turns on an answering machine (留) and skates (溜) away on her ice skates (溜).

秋 = 火 + 禾 : The Queen of Hearts (qi) celebrates autumn (秋) by offering sacrifices. She puts a bowl of cereals (禾) onto a swing (秋) and has the cereals swing into a fire (火) in front of the outhouse (ou1).
