丁型肝炎

丁 = 一 + 亅 : Mnemonic symobl: a nail. 一 is the head of the nail and 亅 is the shaft. The point of the nail is already a bit bent.

Dorothy Gale (di) balances a flute (一) on a crowbar (亅) in front of the engine ((e)ng1). For this trick, she wins the fourth (丁) place in an artists competition and gets a quarter (丁) of a pizza as prize. Unfortunately, there is a big nail (mnemonic symbol for 丁) on the pizza slice.

型 = 刑 + 土 : Marie Curie (xi) is carving a mould (型) out of a lump of earth (土) using a pocket knife (刑) in the engine's kitchen ((e)ng2). She wants to use it to model (型) the stones in the engine.

肝 = 干 + 月 : When Guy Fawkes (g) inspects the moon (月) in front of the anthill (an1) he finds a few dried fruits (干) left behind by Luis Armstrong. By now they are fermented and contain a lot of alcohol. Guy Fawkes eats them happily but unfortunately soon after suffers from liver (肝) damage.

炎 = 火 : Mnemonic symbol: As I just learned "itis" is the feeling you get after eating too much.

Maud Younger (y) ate too much in the anthill's kitchen (an2). She's having the itis (炎) so hard that she doesn't even wake up from the fire (火) which is spreading fast.
